Know how to get help

Avoid preventable harm.
No single list fits every peptide medicine. The exact label and the care plan are the starting points.

Before anything arrives
- Know the exact product and maker.
- Know how the label says it is stored.
- Know who answers a question after delivery.
- Know where to report a problem.
There is no single storage rule for every peptide medicine. Some stay cold and some stay at room temperature.
Why an injection needs extra care
An injection goes past some of the body’s normal defences against germs. Poor compounding can leave germs in a medicine or put in too much or too little of its active ingredient.
A severe allergic reaction may start very quickly—within seconds or minutes. Call 911; this requires emergency help.
